MBA Consultants

MEST recruits MBA students and recent business school graduates to work with EITs for one or two semesters MBAs meet weekly with EITs via phone, e-mail and Skype from their location in the U.S. or Europe, and are offered the opportunity to travel to Accra at least once per term to conduct a workshop and meet students in person.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach trainees in writing business plans
  • Provide feedback on competitive analysis, market research, financial projections and business strategy
  • Meet weekly via electronic communication; average commitment ranges from 2 to 4 hours a week
  • Conduct a workshop in person at MEST's Accra campus on a relevant topic for inspiring software entrepreneurs

Qualifications:

  • Experience with writing and evaluating business plans
  • Knowledge of entrepreneurship and software start-ups
  • Interest and/or passion for teaching and mentoring
  • MBA degree or current MBA candidate
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
